Picking the right size comes down to your interpupillary distance (IPD) — the distance between the centers of your pupils. Getting it right means the display lines up perfectly with your eyes.
What you need to know
- Choose your size by your far IPD:
- Medium: IPD 55–63 mm
- Large: IPD 64–72 mm
- The right size means proper display alignment, better comfort, and the clearest view.
How to measure your IPD
- Ask an optician to measure your far IPD, or use an IPD measurement app (for example, EyeMeasure on iOS).
- Be sure to measure far IPD, not near IPD.
What you can do next
- You’ll select your size in your Backer Survey — measure your IPD ahead of time so you’re ready.
