Adding your prescription to Maverick AI or AI Pro is built into the ordering flow. Here is exactly how to submit it, what we ask for, and what to do if your prescription is outside the current range.
What you need to know
- You enter your prescription yourself in your Backer Survey. You will type your values directly: Sphere (SPH) for each eye, Cylinder (CYL) and Axis if you have astigmatism, and your Pupillary distance (PD).
- You type the values yourself; there is no separate site to visit. If the survey also offers a place to attach a copy of your prescription, that is only to help us verify the values.
- We currently support single-vision lenses, SPH -3.0 to +3.0 and CYL 0 to -1.0. Progressives and stronger astigmatism are on our roadmap, with timing not yet set.
- Have your current prescription handy. Many opticians will email you a copy.
